APEX 2011: Good timing

After the market collapse over 2008 and 2009 and the start of the anticipated recovery in 2010, the APEX exhibition in September 2011 is perfectly timed to make the most of the inevitable upturn.

There is no doubt that the access industry was hit very hard, when the world's economic crisis took hold in late 2008. Orders soon dried up leading to an extremely barren period for the world's access equipment manufacturers.

But, as we all know, such a steep decline in sales cannot go on forever. Major rental companies and contractors can only extend the life of their fleets by so much. There comes a time when machine replacement becomes an economic necessity - and it would appear that the time is 2010 moving into 2011.

Timed to take place on September 14-16 in its usual venue of the Maastricht Exhibition and Conference Centre in the Netherlands, APEX 2011 could well herald a return to sustainable and profitable production and buying levels across the world's access industry.

As populations continue to grow - creating almost insatiable needs for more infrastructure, the clear productivity and safety advantages of powered access will significantly increase sales of access equipment.

There will be new markets and new customers along with the already well-established mature markets of North America and Europe. In those new markets safety legislation is likely to spur on the increasing use of access equipment around the world.

APEX 2011 will attract the cream of the world's access manufacturers, the world's leading established buyers, and a wide range of new potential customers and exhibitors.

We look forward to welcoming you to Maastricht in September 2011.
